NirogiAI is building a platform that helps Medical Officers manage chronic non-communicable diseases between clinic visits, and brings specialists in earlier when they are needed. We are starting in Sri Lanka.
Non-communicable diseases are managed over years, not in a single appointment. Much of what matters happens between clinic visits, and the Medical Officers responsible for that care often carry large caseloads, while specialist time is scarce.
Clinical guidelines are detailed and change over time. Applying them consistently, patient by patient, is hard to do without the right tools.
NirogiAI works alongside the care team. It gathers structured information from patients and organises it against national clinical guidelines so the Medical Officer can review it and make the call.
When specialist care is indicated, the patient reaches it sooner and arrives with a complete, structured record. NirogiAI works with specialists, not around them.
Our initial deployment is in Sri Lanka, working with local clinicians and within the Sri Lankan regulatory framework. What we learn here will shape how we bring NirogiAI to other low- and middle-income countries facing the same challenge.
